Samsung Ready to Release Mobile "Screen Fold" - Samsung said the technology company is ready to launch smart phones with flexible screens in October 2013.

Screen with flexible material allows a mobile phone that can be bent design brings or folded. Thanks to this technology, do not rule out the possibility of computer devices in the future will find a radically new physical form.

"We plan to introduce flexible screen smart phone in South Korea this October," said Chief Marketing Strategy Mobile Devices Samsung, DJ Lee, as quoted by Reuters.

Samsung did not reveal in detail what series phones will adopt this flexible screen.

Since 2011, Samsung began showing off a flexible display technology called Youm brand. The company claims this screen can not be broken because of the nature of rigidities, so it can be bent, rolled, even folded.

Youm designed very thin, use the technology of Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED). The picture quality of OLED screens brighter, lighter weight and more power efficient.

In addition to Samsung, other tech companies such as LG, Sharp, and Nokia, are also beginning to develop a flexible display.
